History (1995): Barbara Grant GM of IBM Storage
One of few women in storage business to reach such high position

She reports to Ed Zschau, GM of Big Blue’s SSD division, and is one of few women in the storage business to reach such a high position.
Her post is parallel to that of Ray AbuZayyad, GM of Storage Products Company (SPC).
Previously, Grant was in charge of heads development and manufacturing, and she remains VP of development and process re-engineering.
