IBM Storage offers SAS wrap tool for IBM Tape drive models H6S, H7S, and H8S

SAS wrap tool is a loopback connector that provides the ability to run SAS port tests and isolate sled problems in IBM tape drives. This type of support is required when at least one SAS tape drive is installed in the tape library.

Key requirements: Tape drive model H6S, H7S, or H8S is required.
