The analyst company announces the availability of its 2021-22 Top 3 GCP Cloud Backup Solutions report.

It evaluated 8 providers offering Google Cloud Platform (GCP) backup solutions across six different categories and provides guidance on the top 3 cloud backup solutions businesses should consider when searching for the best answer for their organization.

In 2008, Google introduced its GCP. Now it stands among the leaders in cloud providers worldwide. This growth indicates more organizations first look to GCP or consider it as an option to AWS or Azure. While AWS and Azure lead GCP in annual cloud IaaS revenue, GCP offers features and services they do not.

Key features and services that help differentiate GCP from them include:
• Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)
• GCP supports creating custom VM instances.

Based on these criteria DCIG ranked the following as the ToP 3 GCP Cloud Backup Solutions (listed in alphabetical order):
• Cobalt Iron Compass
• Commvault Complete Backup and Recovery
• HYCU DPaaS for GCP
