Robin Matlock Board’s Director, Cohesity

Cohesity, Inc. added Silicon Valley veteran Robin Matlock to its board of directors.

She brings more than 30 years of marketing, sales, and business development experience to the board spanning a variety of markets including enterprise software, cloud services, and security.

She most recently served as CMO at VMware, a position she held for 7 years. During her 11 years with the company, she helped shape the company’s business and go to market strategy and played a key role in scaling the company’s revenues from $2 billion to $11 billion.

Before that, she was EVP and GM at the data security company Imperva. Prior to that, she spent more than 5 years at McAfee, serving in several roles including VP of product marketing and SVP of field marketing. She currently serves as an independent director with information management company Iron Mountain. She is an executive advisor to People.ai, a revenue acceleration start-up, and Calamu, a data security company.
