Conner Peripherals transferred an important part of its HDD production from Singapore to Penang, Malaysia, which is now its largest manufacturing unit.

Another part moved to Shenzhen, China, where Conner owns its most recent and competitive plant in terms of revenue.

The Californian company increased its shares in Conner Shenzhen from 69% to 90% and began manufacturing there 210MB HDDs.
