Icy Dock flexiDOCK MB095SP-B 2×2.5-Inch and 1×3.5-Inch SATA HDD/SSD Removable Docking Enclosure for 5.25-Inch Bay

Icy Dock announced the flexiDOCK MB095SP-B, a 2×2.5″ and 1×3.5″ SATA HDD/SSD removable docking enclosure for 5.25″ bay.

It brings internal HDD and SSD to the external 5.25″ bay of a computer system for tool-less drive swapping and accessibility.

It accommodates 2×2.5″ SATA HDD/SSD + 1×3.5″ SATA HDD, and featuring a tray-less docking design, making the drive installation and removal hassle-free process while utilizing the 6Gb SATA transfer speed.

Hassle-free drive swap
Thanks to the tray-less docking design, installing drives is easy with the flexiDOCK enclosure. Slide in your internal HDD or SSD to access the data you need and pull the drive out when finished. The 2.5″ drives protrude slightly from the drive bay, and the 3.5″ drive slot has side cutouts, offering extra grip when swapping each drive out from the flexiDOCK MB095SP-B.

To indicate whether the drive is powered on or in use, an individual soft blue LED status light is designed for both the 2.5″ and 3.5″ drive slots. A solid blue light indicates the device has power, and a flashing blue light is shown when the drive is in use.

For additional security, the flexiDOCK MB095SP-B supports both 7-pin SATA data and 15-pin SATA power cables with locking latches, so don’t worry about cables accidentally disconnecting from the flexiDOCK enclosure. Once these cables are connected, they will lock into place. The metal outer chassis provides longevity and protection for sensitive data while the ABS plastic internals allows the drive stability system to be flexible without sacrificing strength.

Ventilation holes are placed throughout the enclosure to maintain optimal temperatures. The wide-open front panel and the rear ventilation holes allow the computer’s fans to take away the heat and keep drives at optimal operating temperature. A retractable dust cover is installed for the 3.5″ slot to reduce the dusty buildup in the system. The dust cover will be pushed inward when a 3.5″ drive is installed.
