GITEX 2020: Department of Digital Ajman Selected Commvault

Department of Digital Ajman announced at GITEX 2020 that it has implemented Commvault Systems, Inc.  technologies as part of its strategy for digital transformation.

Commvault is providing the Department of Digital Ajman with complete backup solutions. The department will utilize Commvault HyperScale, Commvault Complete, as well as mail archive and end point backup.

During GITEX, Department of Digital Ajman awarded its partners including Commvault for efforts in fueling the department’s digital transformation journey.

Commvault’s backup and recovery solutions offer built-in, end-to-end encryption, including at rest and in flight, as well as auto-discovery for proactive protection of newly added datasets. The solution also offers backup coverage for file systems, applications, databases, VMs, containers, cloud-native SaaS and endpoints.

Commvault is also showcasing its Metallic Cloud Storage Service at GITEX 2020. The company is demonstrating the benefits of its solutions as part of the GITEX future stars element of the event. The Metallic Cloud Storage Service is an integrated cloud storage target for Commvault backup and recovery software and HyperScale X appliance. It brings together technology from Commvault and Azure for security and scale, with single pane of glass management through the Commvault Command Center.

The software company has an extensive customer community across the region, including Dubai Police and Dubai Municipality in UAE, as well as players in regional telco, finance, government and educations sectors including Saudi Telecom Company (STC) and Jeddah University in KSA, Garanti Bank and DenizBank in Turkey as well as Blue Label Telecoms in South Africa.
