Stardom (Raidon) SR2-BA31 2-Bay USB 3.2 Gen2 Desktop RAID

Stardom, a brand from Raidon Technology, Inc. released SR2-BA31 dual bay USB 3.2 Gen2 storage device, which can support 2×2.5″ or 3.5″ SATA HDD/SSD, and has RAID-0/1 modes.

It has a USB Type C connector, provides both USB Type-C to Type-C and USB Type-C to Type-A cables, and can connect to USB Type-C or USB Type-A host interface. In addition, SR2-BA31 provides LCM display and touch button and is suitable for Windows PC or Mac OS.

The SR2-BA31 storage can install 2×2.5″ or 3.5″ SATA SSD/HDD and is compatible with all USB3.2 Gen 1, 2/2.0 spec. Users can use Type-C to Type-C cable or Type-C to Type-A cable to connect to any host computer or laptop which has the USB type-C or USB type-A interface to get the maximum transmission speed up to 6Gb/s. And it has 2 RAID modes that users can use the different RAID setting based on the different applications.

The SR2-BA31 is designed with the touch setting button and touch power on the front panel. It is more convenience and user friendly for users can touch on/off the power. In addition, the SR2-BA31 is designed with the aluminum casing that can protect HDDs without damaged by large impact and help to extend the life of HDD usage.

SR2-BA31 is equipped with the back light screen that can display the module status, and also has the LED indicator for users to view the HDD status. It also provides a software RAIDGuide Manager monitoring program (for Window OS only) for users to understand the SMART information and HDD status and users can exchange the HDD before it damaged. And after setting the monitoring program, it will take the initiative to send letters to users when the HDD fails. This instant notification allows users to be aware of the situation ASAP to remedy the situation faster.
