Cloudera Data Platform Private Cloud Plus With IBM

Delivers self-service analytics across hybrid environments.

Cloudera Data Platform Private Cloud Plus with IBM delivers powerful self-service analytics across hybrid environments; Cloudera Data Platform Streaming Edition with IBM provides advanced streaming capabilities powered by Apache Kafka and Flink

Cloudera Data Platform Streaming Edition with IBM provides messaging, stream processing, and analytics capabilities powered by Apache Kafka as the core stream processing engine.

With real-time stateful processing of IoT-scale data streams and complex events for predictive insights, the platform with IBM 7.1.3 provides robust streams management and streaming analytics capabilities.

Streams management services

Cloudera Data Platform Streaming Edition with IBM 7.1.3 features 2 streams management services for Kafka monitoring and replication:

  • Streams Messaging Manager provides a single monitoring dashboard for a Kafka cluster.
  • Streams Replication Manager provides enterprises with the capability to implement cross-cluster Kafka topic replication.

Streaming analytics capabilities
Cloudera Data Platform Streaming Edition with IBM 7.1.3 offers near real-time stream processing and streaming analytics that are powered by Apache Flink:

  • Provides a flexible streaming solution with low latency that can scale to large throughput
  • Fits into a streaming platform that is augmented by Apache Kafka, Schema Registry, and Streams Messaging Manager in the Cloudera stack
  • Offers the required connectors depending upon the chosen sources and sinks

Cloudera Manager and Kafka Metrics Reporter are provided for monitoring these services. Additionally, log aggregation solutions are available to make the process of streaming analytics more efficient.

Cloudera Data Platform Streams Messaging Base with IBM is a new Cloudera Data Platform-based Kafka offering for existing Cloudera Stream Processing clients.
