Techwave in Partnership With Veeam
To offer telecom and utilities cloud accelerators into Australia and New Zealand
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on November 4, 2020 at 2:16 pmTechwave Consulting Inc., an IT services and solutions company, announced a technology partnership with Veeam Software, Inc.
As part of this partnership, it will extend its backup and DR offerings in the telecom and utility segment along with the Veeam Cloud Data Management Platform (Veeam Backup & Replication) to accelerate digital transformation for the above industries with industry accelerators.
Of late, the traditional IDC (Internet Data Center) businesses are preferring the telecom operators to provide cloud computing services. However, providing services on the cloud has its share of challenges like agile restoration of backed-up data from tape library by migration to cloud-based BCDR; streamlining of unstructured data; and services restoration with security optimization.
“It is a huge value proposition when you combine Techwave’s experience with Veeam’s solutions offering, especially when there is a lot of data around disjointed processes and applications. Going to the market together helps provide a better-integrated business solution with a focused approach to the customer. Given our global approach and a laser focus on enabling the cloud, migration, and right digital transformation to our customers, it is essential to think about all the aspects that form into the play and understand Veeam’s capabilities around backup and DR, which is the best out there. And this partnership enables us to bring the best solution for our clients forward in that particular segment and allows us to equip to provide security backup seamlessly. This backup is what we consider part of our overall digital transformation and digital services that we provide to customers,” noted Raj Gummadapu, CEO, Techwave.
“Veeam’s vision has always been to deliver simple, flexible, and reliable protection of all cloud, virtual, and physical workloads. Our expertise lies in taking out the stress of managing data protection, ransomware prevention, and compliance challenges,” said Asanga Wanigatunga, VP, cloud and service providers for AsiaPac and Japan, Veeam. “We are the insurance policy for ransomware and malware attacks. We make backup copies immutable so that these copies are recoverable and prevented from being deleted or modified. We are extremely excited to be partnering with Techwave and giving them a solution that’s best suited to accelerate their digital transformation strategy.“
