Plextor M8VC Plus 2.5-Inch and M8VG Plus M.2 2280 Up to 1TB SSDs

Plextor announces the M8V Plus SSDs.

They include the M8VC Plus 2.5″ and M8VG Plus M.2 2280 SSDs. Sporting sequential R/W and random R/W speeds as well as a host of features, these SSDs are an accessible upgrade choice for enhancing PC capabilities for improved productivity at home or the office. M8V Plus Series SSD build upon the M8V SSD,, with higher capacities options (up to 1TB) and the use of 96-layer 3D NAND memory instead of 64-layer 3D NAND memory.

Equipped with SMI SM2258 controllers and Kioxia 96-layer BiCS flash 3D flash memory, the M8VC Plus and M8VG Plus deliver sequential R/W speeds of up to 560/520MB/s and random R/W speeds of up to 90,000/88,000 IO/s. The SSDs feature RAID engine and data shaping technologies for extended product lifespans, longer-lasting stability, and ROI. The SSDs come in capacities ranging from 128GB to 1TB.

The M8VC Plus and M8VG Plus are built with Low-Density Parity-Check ECC technology. LDPC helps to reduce data errors, and an equal increase in data integrity, safeguarding valuable content from corruption.
