Current intelligence pointed out that AgeLocker-affected systems are mostly macOS and Linux devices, and firm’s initial investigation showed that no unpatched vulnerabilities are found in QTS NAS OS. All known affected NAS are running older, unpatched QTS  versions. The company is carrying out a thorough investigation by working with other information security entities to ensure the security of its products.

Since unpatched devices are prone to information security threats, the firm urges users to update their device OS and apps to the latest version available.
