Milissa McCarthy VP WW Sales, Avalanche Technology

Avalanche Technology, Inc., in next gen MRAM technology, expanded its sales organization with the addition of Milissa McCarthy as VP of WW sales.

In this role, she will be responsible for managing the sales team and growing the business globally.

A 25-year sales veteran of the semiconductor and storage industries with a history of providing solutions for the industrial, automotive, medical and aerospace markets, McCarthy has a record of developing customer relationships and growing business together. She also has expertise in helping customers solve their persistent storage challenges using non-volatile memory.

She will report to Petro Estakhri, president and CEO.

“I am very excited and pleased to have Milissa join our team as we ramp our customer base,” he said. “With her technical background, in-depth knowledge of the non-volatile memory market, and relationships with Industrial customers, Milissa will be instrumental in achieving our customer and revenue goals.”

Throughout her career, McCarthy has held various sales and sales management roles with some of the semiconductor companies, including SanDisk (now Western Digital), Arrow Electronics, Altera (now Intel) and ATI (now AMD). Most recently, she was sales director for Everspin Technologies, Chandler, AZ. In this role, she managed sales representatives in the East and West regions for North America, as well as worldwide distributors, to evangelize MRAM technology in the customer base and drive revenue in the regions.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA and a B.A. in Mathematics from Wheaton College, Norton, MA.
