Commercial Real Estate Firm JLL Completes Lease Expansion for OwnBackup

Jones Lang LaSalle IP, Inc. (JLL) has completed a 30,000-square-foot lease expansion and extension with OwnBackup Ltd. at 940 Sylvan Avenue in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, on behalf of property owner Andalex Capital.

The cloud-based backup and restore provider, a tenant at the property since 2018, will expand and extend its lease, doubling its footprint to occupy the entire 60,000-square-foot Class-A office building with in the Sylvan Corporate Center, a burgeoning tech and finance hub.

Andalex is represented by executive MD Frank D. Recine, and associate Nicolas DeCotiis, both with JLL. OwnBackup was represented by senior MD Jason Fray and SVP Harlan Hollander, both with Savills Studley.

OwnBackup, which previously occupied the first floor of 940 Sylvan Avenue, will occupy the 30,000-square-foot second floor. The property, located near the intersection of Sage Road and Sylvan Avenue/Route 9W in Englewood Cliffs, is part of the Sylvan Corporate Center, which includes 910, 920, 930 and 940 Sylvan Avenue.

The center is made up of 4 two-story office buildings that are linked by a central lobby. The office destination offers on-site food service, covered parking, private parking and on-site management, as well as telecommunications infrastructure.
