IBM Elastic Storage Server (ESS) offers an embedded Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) for ESS) 5000 solutions. This RHEL offering is only for use in ESS 5000 solution 5105-22E.

Embedded RHEL for ESS 5000 comes preinstalled on ESS 5000 solutions.

Support Line is available from IBM, with technical support provided by Red Hat.

When purchasing an ESS 5000, it will include an order for the required RHEL subscription for ESS 5000 system, as well as an order for support line for your Red Hat subscription. You can choose 3 or 5 years of subscription and support line.

Updates for RHEL for ESS 5000 will be provided by IBM in the same location ESS 5000 updates are made available.
