SANS Digital EliteNAS 12G Series Hardware RAID-Based NAS Up to 3.5PB

The SANS Digital Technology Inc. ‘s EliteNAS 12G Series has an improved OS that enhances performance, reliability, and capacity scalability.

The EliteNAS OS was designed to take advantage of the latest technologies in internal/external PCIe hardware RAID and networking. These features now allow users to scale up to petabytes of storage either by daisy chaining multiple high capacity JBODs, or by aggregating multiple EliteNAS units in a capacity scale-out cluster.

The EliteNAS is responsive to the latest networking technologies supporting all the latest connections such as 100GbE NICs, FC target and others. With a focus on broadcasting and video editing applications (4K/5K/8K video editing), it has been engineered to sustain stable and continuous transfer rates with minimal delays for real-time video recordings.

Furthermore, the EliteNAS is a solution that allows for multiple file systems to co-exists in one unit. XFS, EXT4, and now BTRFS are all supported with ZFS planned in the near future. IT administrators now have the flexibility to create different types of Network Share Volumes and can adjust them to fit their needs. Backup to Google Drive or Amazon S3 with an array of other features such as async replication, unlimited snapshots, etc. to enhance data protection.
