Revenue of Nakivo Up 46% in 1Q20

60% of sales from EMEA, 33% from America and 8% from AsiaPac

NAKIVO Inc. announced its 1Q20 results.

It achieved the following:

Revenue: In 1Q20, NAKIVO’s revenue in the Americas grew by 46%. Of the total revenue, 60% came from the EMEA region, while 33% came from the Americas and 8% came from the AsiaPac region. The company saw the highest revenues in USA, Germany and Italy. Revenue grew more than 100% Q/Q in India, Russia, South Africa, Ecuador, United Arab Emirates, French Polynesia, Dominican Republic, Malta, Sri Lanka, Mali, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Finland and Slovakia.

Customers: In 1Q20, the company’s customer base grew by 38% compared to 1Q19. The number of new customers grew by 42% in the EMEA region, by 31% in the AsiaPac region and by 28% in the Americas. As of now, it has nearly 15,000 customers in 142 countries worldwide, and has expanded into Benin, Guam, Martinique, Uganda and Uzbekistan.

Some examples of customers include: GCA Telecom, Wahiawa General Hospital and IEMN (water management institution).

Enterprises are choosing its Backup & Replication as their data protection solution, with 12% of new deployments in 1Q20 vs. 1Q19.

SMBs are also deploying Backup & Replication, with a growth rate of 46% in 1Q20 in comparison to 1Q19.

Technology Partners: In 1Q20, NAKIVO delivered its solutions via technology partners with continued success, as more enterprises and SMBs chose to install Backup & Replication on hardware from technology partners. Particularly, ASUSTOR NAS installations grew by 53% in 1Q20 vs. 1Q19, while Qnap NAS installations grew by 39%.

Solution Partners: In 1Q20, 317 new solution providers joined the fir’s Partner Program and now offer its products to their enterprise and SMB customers. As of now, it has partnered with approximately 5,000 software solution providers across the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle-East and the AsiaPac region. Solution partners from Bahamas, Cameroon, Ghana and Gibraltar joined for the first time in 1Q20.

Cloud Providers: Company’s Cloud Provider Program enables managed service, cloud services and hosting providers to deliver backup-as-a-service, replication-as-a-service, and disaster-recovery-as-a-service to their customers. In 1Q20, the number of cloud providers grew by 28% vs. 1Q19 and the first cloud provider from United Arab Emirates teamed up with NAKIVO.
