Proprietary SLC technology
For added reliability and improved cost efficiency, the IM2S3314 implements the company’s proprietary A+ SLC technology. It utilizes custom NAND flash firmware with an A+ sorting algorithm to emulate SLC performance. A+ SLC is reliable, provides data integrity, and delivers a cost/performance balance.

It is built with Western Digital Corp./SanDisk ICs and comes in a capacities, from 16-128GB for A+ SLC and 32-256GB for MLC. It uses the 6Gb SATA interface and is equipped with a controller with continuous read and write speeds of up to 540/450MB/s. For added stability and reliability, it supports a technologies including SMART, which can indicate a possible imminent drive failure, and NCQ and Windows TRIM Command to boost performance.
