Lite-On Revenue in February, at NT$8.67 Billion, Impacted by Coronavirus
Storage accounting for 11% of global sales
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on April 3, 2020 at 2:34 pmLITE-ON Technology Corp. reported its February 2020 consolidated revenue of NT$8.67 billion, decreasing 20% Y/Y and 23% month to month, mainly impacted by postponement of return to work from the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday due to COVID-19 outbreak.
Cumulative sales for January and February totaled NT$19.98 billion.
In February, opto-electronics, information technologies, and storage business segments accounted for 21%, 62%, and 11% share of total sales respectively.
It is expected that the delivery and operations in March will be better than in February, thanks to the continuous increasing return to work rate of factories in mainland China as well as optimized utilization of manufacturing sites outside China.
