The abstract of the patent published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states: ”The present disclosure relates to a method and system for executing processes in Virtual Storage Area Network by an array controller. The array controller receives a request for executing a process in VSAN, calculates a time duration for execution of the received process, compares calculated time duration with a predefined time duration, where the received process is divided into a first part and a second part if the calculated time duration exceeds the pre-defined time duration, executes the first part of the received process and assigns the second part of received process to a management server for execution, where the management server comprises a plurality of processing units dedicated for executing the second part of the received process.”
