This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on January 29, 2020 at 2:20 pmSentinelOne (Sentinel Labs, Inc.) announced the opening of a new office location in Boston, MA, to support the demand of its expanding customer base.
The new location, SentinelOne’s third in the continental US and fifth office worldwide, will house product, innovation, Vigilance MDR, marketing, and additional corporate functions to augment current teams in Mountain View, CA, Eugene, OR, and overseas.
“Boston has a long history as one of the education capitals of the world, and alongside our headquarters in Silicon Valley, has developed into the nation’s preeminent home for technology innovation and high-growth startups,” said Mike Petronaci, senior director of product and Boston office lead. “We are thrilled to enter this rich ecosystem to take advantage of the wealth of cybersecurity talent currently available to expedite our tremendous company growth, and becoming available as the area’s many top higher education providers matriculate future technology leaders through respective programs.”
SentinelOne converges two historically separate spaces – EPP and EDR – in a single platform using patented behavioral and static AI models to deliver autonomous capabilities with the lowest performance impact. Platform capabilities extend beyond classic endpoints to IoT security and cloud workload protection, enabling visibility and real time protection for containers.
The firm was named the seventh fastest growing company in North America, the fastest growing in Silicon Valley, and was the only cybersecurity company recognized in the top 10 of the Deloitte Technology Fast 500. The company serves 3 of the Fortune 10 and hundreds of global 2,000 enterprises amongst its 3,000 customers. In 2020, it will more than double its customer and employee bases, with its Boston office contributing to East Coast US expansion.
“On our path to becoming the next great cybersecurity company, we embody the definition of a global organization,” said Nicholas Warner, COO. “We have no choice but to continue expanding our footprint to accommodate customer demand. With the depth of cybersecurity talent available, selecting Boston as our newest home was a no brainer.”
In addition to the new office and employment opportunities, the vendor will advance the area’s tech ecosystem through active engagement with local educational institutions and co-operative positions with Boston-area students.
