CES: Gigabyte Showcased Gaming Monitors, High-Speed Memory, Portable Storage and Liquid-Cooled eGPU

Including Aorus RAID SSD 2TB NVMe 1.3, PCIe 3.0 x8 expansion card with Phison E12 and 3D TLC NAND

At CES 2020, Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd, has unveiled a series of gaming monitors; a trio of mobile and PCIe-based memory storage solutions; and a water-cooled eGPU.

These additions round out the company’s portfolio of technology products, which caters to PC enthusiasts, gamers and content developers.

Gaming monitors
The company’s gaming monitors offer gaming features and top-end hardware specs at a more attractive price point. Models range from 27 to 32 inches and include both IPS (flat-panel) with wide 178° vertical and horizontal viewing angles to VA (curved panel), which offer contrast and image depth.

Screen resolutions in the firm’s series range from FHD to QHD (quad high definition) with 2,560×1,440 pixel resolution. All the company’s monitors are also compatible with AMD’s FreeSync and Nvidia’s G-Sync technology, which promise an experience free of stuttering, or screen tearing. Performance systems often experience screen or frame tearing, which is caused by the refresh rate of the monitor being out of sync with the frames produced by the graphics card. The company’s gaming monitors promise flicker-free gaming with no lag.

The firm’s Auto-Update feature will automatically run instant system checkups and updates once the monitors are connected to the PC. Users no longer need to take tedious steps prior to installs or encounter failures because the monitors are constantly updating and troubleshooting themselves.
