Cohesity, Inc. announced that it will showcase integrations at AWS re:Invent 2019 in Las Vegas, NV, that extend its enterprise backup and data protection to database as a service and platform as a service offerings on AWS, making it easier for customers to protect valuable cloud workloads without adding to their cloud footprint.
In addition, the company will showcase enhancements for archiving data to AWS, making it more cost-effective to build hybrid cloud environments.
Integrations with AWS include:
Cloud Snapshot Manager for Amazon RDS and Amazon EC2: Lightweight solution protects Amazon database and VM workloads remotely from on-premises environments.
Support for SAP HANA on AWS: The company is extending enterprise backup capabilities for SAP HANA in-memory databases that run on AWS.
CloudArchive Direct: Capability allows customers to archive file data from NAS directly to cloud reducing primary storage footprint and costs.
Support for Amazon S3 Glacier Deep Archive: The firm is adding support for Glacier Deep Archive, low-cost cloud storage class from AWS, enabling customers to reduce their long-term cloud storage costs.
