Capstorm Introduces Archive Feature for Salesforce Object

Capstorm LLC’s Archive feature enables a depth Salesforce recycle bin for any Salesforce object.

The company announces an archive feature to empower every Salesforce customer to set custom record retention policies according to business requirements.

This feature is included with the backup software and is configured with a simple point-and-click interface.

A full-featured trial version of the company’s Salesforce backup software including the archive feature is available for download.

The firm’s archive feature is for many pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations where data compliance and backup security are paramount. It enables the retention of any record set for any period of time, based upon rules supplied by customer with all Salesforce records retained in the customer’s own relational database.

Features also included in company’s software release include:

• Tncremental backup – 10 to 15 minute backups of added or modified records, versioned metadata, and Salesforce structure changes.

• Scratch org seeding – scripted restore of a targeted slice of production data.

• Customized Archive – rule based Salesforce record archival for any object with customer supplied retention lengths.

• Migration tools – record mapping and matching rules for complicated Salesforce migrations
