Israeli Start-Up EnsureDR Raises 2.5 Million in Series A

In DR readiness platform, EnsureDR, founded in 2015 with now 28 employees, raises $2.5 million in series A financing round led by Awz Ventures, a Canadian venture fund focused on cyber and intelligence technologies.

Awz is led by founder and managing partner, Yaron Ashkenazi, and advisory committee president, the Rt. Hon. Stephen J. Harper, Canada’s 22nd prime minister.

EnsureDR is in recovery readiness solution that identifies and fixes DR Plan problems prior to a disaster by automatically operating and testing the secondary sites on a weekly basis.

It protects global organizations in the financial services, technology, manufacturing, healthcare, and government sectors. It automatically turns on servers, applications, databases, resources, web portals, and connects the environment to the network. With EnsureDR, organizations can completely evaluate, audit, and assess their DR plans; they can resolve business recovery problems prior to an actual disaster.
