Vietnamese VoIP Provider, VOIP24H Chooses Nakivo Backup & Replication

Vietnamese VoIP provider VOIP24H has selected Nakivo Backup & Replication to protect its virtual environment.

VOIP24H is one of the first service providers of Voice over IP, founded in 2012 in Vietnam. The company primarily focuses on providing VoIP solutions for virtualized call centers.

It also provides VoIP hardware and collaborates with different CRM and ERP solution providers in Vietnam, in order to create an all-in-one product for various businesses. The company’s IT infrastructure consists of a one data center, six servers, and a total of 100 VMs.

VMs store CRM data that is primarily made of historical information, such as history of calls, call logs, and recordings. CRM data is important for VOIP24H, as CRM is their main tool for not only judging their employee’s performance and KPIs, but also is a necessary system for their customers to track various information. Keeping critical data safe and secure is key for the company, as 80% of its customers find data moderately important and 20% find data extremely important.

VOIP24H had been protecting their data by manually performing backups via snapshots, and had no professional product in place, designed for virtualized environments. The whole VM backup process took a long time, and VM recovery was also long and cumbersome, as 30 to 60 minutes were needed to recreate a VM manually. The manual backup just engulfed too many of the company’s resources and too much of their IT team’s time to be constantly monitoring the whole process. Manual backup also proved challenging, as issues arose with servers’ incompatibility. Overall, the company wanted an automated VM backup solution, designed for virtual environments that could streamline VM backup and VM recovery for VOIP24H and protect their historical data to ensure daily operations.
