An industry veteran with over 30 years of business and technology experience, he served on the company’s board of directors since December 2018 and previously held leadership positions at enterprise software companies including Citrix Systems, Inc. and Microsoft Corp.
His experience executing effective product strategies and his knowledge of enterprise IT, scaling technology businesses and developing partner channels will help Acronis continue building its cyber protection strategy across the enterprise sector to ensure the Swiss-Singaporean company meets its strategic goals.
“After serving on the board for the last ten months, Kirill will now be taking a more active role in the company,” said Serguei SB Beloussov, Acronis founder and CEO. “Kirill will be an active member of the executive team, helping to accelerate Acronis’ cyber strategy execution and scale the Acronis Cyber Platform and Acronis Cyber Infrastructure business. His experience with innovations at scale will help us to deliver easy, efficient, and secure cyber protection to customers of any size.”
Tatarinov has a track record of building and leading multi-billion-dollar businesses. Most recently he was the president and CEO at Citrix Systems, Inc. Under his leadership, Citrix introduced a new vision and strategy and advanced corporate culture focusing on innovation and transformation to the cloud.
Before joining Citrix, he spent thirteen years at Microsoft Corporation in several executive roles including as the president of the Microsoft Business Solutions Division (MBS) with end-to-end responsibility for the Microsoft Dynamics business. Prior to that, he was corporate VP of the management and Solutions Division, where he oversaw the Windows management technologies and products, including Microsoft System Center, as well as Windows Server solutions. he was a member of Microsoft’s senior leadership team.
He is currently also on the boards of Avaloq and Acumatica as well as mentoring several tech start-ups and acting as an expert advisor to industry investment firms.
