This report was updated on March 19, 2019 and includes the following corrections, the mains one being Wasabi  Active Storage, Coraid (in fact acquired by Brantley Coile Company) and Kerstor (but IP sold) that didn’t close and no more listed below. Other modifications ones are in red.

Since several decades we analyze the storage start-ups, 170 or 18% of them disappear – not being public or sold – among a total of 975.
