Tell us briefly about Kyoto Technologies?
Kyoto Technologies is a leading Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) service provider, distributor and system integrator company based in Dubai. Our offices are also located in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Jeddah, and Gurgaon.
What kinds of products and services you offer? Can you brief about that?
We are the sole distributors in the Gulf region for Easisms from Inspiretech, Beenote (Comnet Technologie, Inc.) and Think Company. Also, we are strategic partners of Microsoft, Dell, HP, Citrix – Cloud Service Provider, VMware, Fortinet, and Trend Micro.
What was the reason behind choosing Vembu as your strategic partner in UAE?
Kyoto’s vision is to promote Lean IT through data center consolidation, hybrid IT and multi-cloud solutions and services. Vembu is a vital organization to provide backup solutions in a multi-cloud environment with less cost and better functionalities.
How do you think your customers can achieve optimal BC upon implementation of Vembu BDR Suite in their environments?
Every customer seeks for quality, functionality, efficiency, better price & support in a product or service during purchase. Vembu has all in it. It has a variety of solutions, flexible licensing models, competitive pricing and has a reliable and responsive support team.
What do you tend to achieve by partnering with Vembu Technologies?
Our plan is to put the foot in every competitive market and replace or add Vembu offerings. With Vembu’s all-inclusive backup solution, Vembu BDR Suite, this looks comfortably possible.
Can you tell us briefly about your joint strategy along with Vembu in your territories?
We will be following with marketing through Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter. We will run email campaigns, telemarketing, circulate content on the website. We will provide demos to attract partners and our customers.
What would you like to say about Vembu’s AcePartner program?
We received a good sales training to pitch the product, we understood how it is better than other competitors in terms of price, functions, support, etc.
There is a room for improvement in order to make it compelling for resellers to connect with us. Especially streamlined partners front/back-end rebates policies, Partner MDF eligibilities against events/training funds/customer-enablement credits, etc. This we can explore, as we progress.
As for the portal training, since it is a very user-friendly console it did not take much time to understand.
What do you think are the challenges ahead for your business and how you would like to overcome them?
We have to be aggressive in our marketing, and we would need help from Vembu marketing team to support us on marketing activities to achieve the awareness stage.

We received overall product sales and support training by understanding clients’ and prospects’ business challenges.
