27.7% to 51% tax on disks imported from Japan to USA

Verbatim (Chalotte, NC), an Eastman Kodak subsidiary, started this procedure one year ago. The companies involved are notably Fuji, Kao, Hitachi, Maxell and Sony.
There are a dozen FD manufacturers with plants in the U.S.
Japanese companies: anti-dumping duties
- Sony: 51%
- Hitachi Maxell 27.7%
- Fuji Photo Film 50.5%
- All others 43%
