David Morris VP Global Product Strategy and Marketing, FalconStor

Had marketing positions at EMC, VMware, Pillar Data and Huawei.

Falconstor MorrisFalconStor Software, Inc. appointed David Morris to its global executive team as VP of global product strategy and marketing.

 

 

He will manage an international team of product development and marketing professionals to capitalize on emerging storage and data management opportunities by leveraging FalconStor’s products, its trove of IP, and its capacity for innovation.

He has spent 25 years developing and delivering compute, networking, storage, and data management products and services. His expertise includes developing new technology strategies and creating new products to help enterprise and start-up companies maneuver through market shifts. Before FalconStor, he most recently worked in the emerging container virtualization market as VP of strategy and marketing. He has also served in various senior strategy, product development, and marketing positions at EMC, VMware, Pillar Data, and Huawei. His successes include creating the high-performance NAS market, conceiving the tier-3 utility storage market, and pivoting into the emerging enterprise eDiscovery market.

He holds graduated degrees in finance, engineering, and marketing from Columbia University, George Washington University, and the University of California, Berkeley, respectively, as well as a degree in physics from Auburn University.
