SIOS Technology Corp. appointed Jim Caro as SVP sales and Frank Jablonski as VP marketing.

These executive hires further build out the senior management team including recent additions of Michael Bilancieri as VP of product; Kevin Williams as executive advisor and SVP of engineering; and the appointment of Cassius Rhue as VP of customer experience.

The company is now well positioned to meet the growing global demand of its HA clustering software for critical applications like SQL Server, Oracle, and SAP operating in physical, virtual and cloud environments. SIOS’ new customer business for cloud deployments grew over 100% Y/Y reflecting a rapid change in cloud adoption for critical applications and the increased need for HA clusters in the cloud.

CaroJim Caro joins SIOS as SVP sales, reporting to president and CEO Jerry Melnick. Most recently, he was the head of storage sales for New England focusing on public sector, higher education and healthcare organizations at HPE. Prior to that, he was SVP of global alliances at Unitrends and before that, VP of channels, Americas at Acronis. he also held business development and sales leadership positions at FilesX and Network Engines.


JablonskiFrank Jablonski comes to SIOS as its VP marketing, also reporting to Melnick. He brings over 20 years of data protection experience and is well-versed in backup, recovery, replication, HA, CDP, data encryption, deduplication, storage, tape, disk, cloud, virtualization, cataloging and audit reporting which is instrumental in this role.
Previously, Frank was VP of global product marketing at Acronis where he led the product marketing team for data protection and cloud products. Earlier, he held senior marketing roles at Syncsort, CA, FilesX, Genuity and EMC.
