Nearline Units and Exabytes Continue to Rise

· 2.5″ Mobile/CE HDDs: Seasonally weaker 2.5″ external HDD demand combined with slightly lower notebook PC HDD demand to cut total 2.5″ mobile/CE HDD shipments by roughly over a half-million units to around 36.6 million HDDs.
· 3.5″/2.5″ Enterprise HDDs: Western Digital’s continued exit from the performance enterprise market combined with secularly weaker enterprise server/storage demand to cut performance enterprise HDD shipments by roughly 0.4 million units Q/Q to around 4.1 million HDDs.
