Darryl Richardson Chief Product Evangelist, Aparavi

Aparavi Software Corp., in the multi-cloud data management space, appointed Darryl Richardson, a 26-year veteran of IT and data protection/data governance, its chief product evangelist.

In this role he will contribute strategically to company teams in technical leadership/innovation, product marketing/evangelism, and pre-sales engineering/customer support.

He joins Aparavi after 12 years with Symantec and Veritas specializing in information intelligence, file governance, archiving, and e-discovery, supporting hundreds of global sales teams and sales engineers. With his support and guidance his teams achieved many $million plus sales in all verticals including federal civilian and DOD government, state and local governments, higher education and state universities, healthcare, mid-market, large and commercial enterprise, and strategic accounts including many of the top ten global Fortune 50 companies. He was a founding member of the strategic Symantec/Veritas White Glove and technical champions team, responsible for input on product development and customer enhancement requests, certification programs, content development and enablement for the global pre-sales team. Following the company’s 2014 split of Symantec and Veritas, he remained with Veritas.
