This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on July 3, 2019 at 2:04 pmInterconexão e Tecnologias (INET) and Backup Everything Ltd (BE)announce a partnership that will allow INET to resell services provided by Backup Everything to customers in Angola and Africa.
This relationship further extends the coverage BE has operations in after providing its solutions to customers and partners in Europe, USA, Latin America, South America, Middle East and Asia.
“The need for cloud backup in emerging markets is growing at immense pace,” says Saaher Muzafer, MD, Backup Everything. “Connectivity is improving all the time therefore we are pleased to be able to be associated with INET for the foreseeable future to be able to backup data for customers in new territories.“
The African market has a mixture of government firms and small businesses so the backup solution which BE has, caters for this audience and can protect servers, PC’s and applications. Data can be stored locally for quicker restores and on sites where the upload speed is slow, data can be sent via FTP from another location. Once the initial backup finishes its just the compressed incremental changes that go to the cloud which makes backing up large volumes of data.
Edvaldo Ferro, MD, INET, says: “There is literally a sea of backup providers out there and it was almost impossible to choose the right one to work with. The reason we chose BE was because of their consistent organic growth and frank conversations about the industry. They were not trying to sell to us, it was the complete opposite, they were more interested in helping us understand how we could solve our customer problems rather than us being a revenue number like how most other providers present themselves.”
BE offers a suite of products and can be implemented independently:
