VP Rick Walsworth Left Vexata

Two executives of struggling start-up Vexata left the San-Jose, CA-based company.

VP of products and solutions marketing Rick Walsworth quits one month ago to become VMware cloud foundation product marketing, being based in Palo Alto, CA.

He worked 2 years at Vexata before being VP marketing at Formation data Systems for 2 years, EMC director of marketing for 9 years, 2 years at Kashya, 3 years at Maranti Networks and 1 year at SAN Valley Systems.

According to El Register, CMO Ashish Gupta also left Vexata after around 3 years in the start-up.

Formerly at Springpath, he also worked at Violin Memory, Huawei and NetApp.
