John Kim to Leave Trendfocus

VP John Kim, with expertise in demand interconnects for enterprise storage, personal computing, CE, and external storage, is leaving Trendfocus next June 30.

He has 25 years of HDD industry experience, including 17 years with Trendfocus. From 1991 to 1998 he was director of sales and marketing for Kobe Precision and, prior to that, held a top marketing role at Microscience International. His experience in Asian markets anchors the Trendfocus’ profound exposure in that region.

Kim was one of the best if not the best analyst of the worldwide HDD industry. He loves to travel around the world, but especially in Paris, France, loves good food and wine, and is a NBA fan. He is married with one daughter.
