This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on June 24, 2019 at 2:07 pmSynology Inc. was notified by Intel Corp. that SSD D3-4510 and SSD D3-4610 series drives in the 1.92TB and 3.84TB capacities may experience the NAND ‘channel hang’ caused by approximately 1,700 hours of cumulative idle power-on time.
For the company’s NAS equipped with the above stated SSDs, it is recommended to conduct backup to prevent data loss.
