Infortrend EonStor Gsi AI Storage Solution for Kick-Start AI Deployments

Infortrend Technology, Inc. announces the EonStor GSi storage solution empowers enterprises to kick-start AI deployments with improved production efficiency and develop business models.

According to McKinsey survey, global AI investments have grown from $26 billion in 2014 to $38 billion in 2016. Despite this investment boom, AI enterprise applications are still in an infancy stage. EonStor GSi represents a platform to AI providers, and the firm’s key strategy is to seek cooperation with more AI partners as possible. In the surveillance industry, intelligent video analytics can be deployed via Docker container image into EonStor GSi to deliver video analytics for searching objects such as human faces, license plates, and specific behaviors. With the integration of AI applications, enterprises can get the benefits such as easy maintenance and cost saving while reducing the risk of false alarms.

For healthcare applications, EonStor GSi can facilitate medical imaging services such as image diagnostics by AI-driven medical imaging software. As for smart city initiatives such as intelligent transportation and smart retail, EonStor GSi is a platform to deploy and implement AI applications.
