William Ho VP Sales for AsiaPac and Japan, Cohesity

He brings more than 20 years of enterprise technology leadership experience. He will play a key role in helping AsiaPac customers and partners solve mass data fragmentation challenges.
With mass data fragmentation, massive volumes of non-mission-critical data – data used for backup, archiving, testing and development, file shares and object stores, and analytics – sit in silos that don’t integrate and can be challenging, costly, and time-consuming to backup and manage. Cohesity consolidates data silos and applications onto one easy-to-use platform, empowering customers in the AsiaPac region and around the world increase IT efficiency, reduce costs and compliance challenges, and derive powerful insights that can create better business outcomes.
Ho previously served as SVP, AsiaPac and Japan, for the telecommunications equipment manufacturer ARRIS, where he focused on service provider and enterprise business. He joined ARRIS in 2017 when the company acquired Ruckus, where he worked as VP, AsiaPac and Japan, since 2013.
Ho began his career as a software engineer with Bell Northern Research in Canada, which later became Nortel Networks, serving the company as director, wireless solutions, AsiaPac, and then as MD, intelligent business unit, AsiaPac, overseeing Nortel’s enterprise networking business in the region.
In 2005, he joined Cisco, where he was responsible for building business in Asia and China. Over nearly ten years, he led Cisco’s mobile service provider business and strategy for AsiaPac, and later served as the SVP of Cisco China.
Cohesity has grown its presence in the AsiaPac region as more enterprises reduce their reliance on legacy point products and instead embrace modern data management solutions. Recently signed customers in the region include True Alliance and Vita Group.
Cohesity has partnered with resellers and cloud service providers Data#3 Limited, Nexion Networks, Secure Agility, and Spectrum Consulting in Australia and New Zealand.
