HYCU Announced Protégé

HYCU, Inc. reserved a surprise to the IT Press Tour crew being with the announcement of its product named Protégé (please notice the accents).

The company continues to iterate products rapidly outside of the Nutanix perimeter and provides data protection expertise in various enterprise areas. Following Nutanix Mine announced during recent Nutanix .NEXT conference and previously a SaaS data protection offering for Google Cloud supporting Cloud SQL with MySQL and PostgreSQL.

Now with Protégé, the company targets the multi-cloud need in an ‘as-a-service’ model.

By Multi-cloud the company offers a series of cross-cloud capabilities with DR, migration, backup and application recovery controlled by a centralized console fueled by an extended policy layers.

The idea is also to become the obvious companion of enterprises who started a cloud journey, the data protection service will continue to protect and secure their data.

This solution will help the migration of applications and data to the cloud whatever the provider is. One of the key fundamental attribute of Protégé is the dynamic, transparent and automatic deployment that is finally fully transparent. HYCU capitalizes on its Google Cloud backup service and this time promotes a DPaaS and DRaaS solution solving a real costly nightmare for tons of enterprises.

The product will be available in September 2019 and pricing will be announced at that time.
