History (1988): 3.5-Inch FDD From Brier Technology at 25MB
On single disk using zone recording technology
By Jean Jacques Maleval | June 4, 2019 at 2:25 pmBrier Technology Inc. (USA) announced a 3.5-inch floppy disk drive that will provide 25MB unformatted or 21.4MB formatted data on a single disk using zone recording technology where the number of recorded sectors depends on the tracks.
This technology uses a fancier controller which will probably make the unit expensive.
