In Japan
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on May 22, 2019 at 2:27 pmAvalanche Technology, Inc., in MRAM technology, entered into an agreement with Midoriya Electric Co., Ltd. to distribute its portfolio of discrete non-volatile memories in Japan.
The distributor, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan will offer Avalanche’s portfolio of non-volatile memories to its industrial, aerospace, IoT and storage customers to enable low energy and performing solutions.
“Data logging and low energy are essential for the next generation of connected factories and cities, where sensor data is aggregated through connectivity hubs, for data analytics as well as the ability to restore the factories to known good states in case of system failures,” said Yosuke Sato, GM, Midoriya. “Our relationship with Avalanche strengthens both our positions as go-to partners for industry innovators who are enabling the next generation of low energy products whilst accelerating their time to market.“
“Entering into this partnership with Midoriya will help us build a leadership position in next generation non-volatile memories, and extend our reach into fast-growing segments that require low power and non volatility,” said Danny Sabour, VP sales and marketing. “Not only will we benefit from Midoriya’s technical, sales and logistics expertise, but our collaboration will also create new opportunities that benefit from our product features.“
Avalanche’s second gen of P-SRAM devices are available:
- At densities of up to 32Mb in 108-MHz Quad Serial Peripheral Interface (QSPI) performance as a byte addressable memory, thus eliminating the need for software device drivers,
- In up to industrial extended temperature, in a variety of small form factor industry pin compatible RoHS packages, and
- In a range of voltages from 1.71V to 3.6V, for industrial SoCs as well as future generations of low voltage and low energy devices.
