Mellanox Using WekaIO Matrix

WekaIO, Inc. announced that Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. is using WekaIO Matrix to accelerate its Electronic Design Automation (EDA) workflow.

The company chose Matrix, a file system, to accelerate application performance scaling for their EDA workloads and thus enabling the design of more complex application Asics, as well as for the product’s linear scalability and native IB support.

Mellanox interconnect solutions increase datacenter efficiency by providing high throughput and low latency, delivering data faster to applications, unlocking system performance and improving data security. Mellanox ConnectX 100GbE networking was also a key component of the Matrix cluster design that broke performance records on both the SPEC SFS and IO500 10 Node Challenge benchmarks.
