50% Y/Y Growth for Calsoft
Doubling workforce and expanding with new development center in Bengaluru, India

“Over the past year, we have increased strategic investments in the capabilities and services most sought-after by our customers. Central to our strategy is the flexibility that we offer to our customers in meeting their business goals,” stated Anupam Bhide, founder and CEO.
“We have seen stellar growth in our legacy business and will continue to see a rise as we engage in multi-year contracts with Fortune 500 companies“, stated Parag Kulkarni, COO and head of engineering. “We project the same growth next year with our focus on pioneering solutions in disruptive technologies.”
Engineering and technology leadership
While the company continued focus on data center and cloud domains, it added telecom to its portfolio by delivering 5G ready NFVi solutions across four NFVi Stacks, for three large ISVs. Calsoft’s engineering delivered solutions in microservices/containers (Kubernetes, Docker, Mesos) security, application performance management, edge computing, neural network architectures, natural language processing and deep learning to new clients.
The company augmented its engineering leadership team with key appointments last year. Vipin Shankar joined as VP of engineering to lead new technology services and also added two engineering directors and three new architects to its technology ladder.
Customers
The firm expanded its customer base with long term strategic contracts with three of the Top-5 news makers in the IDC’s list of worldwide storage and virtualization vendors. The company also acquired new customers in areas such as IoT, ML/DL and WiFi.
Contributions to the industry
Calsoft was a Premier Partner for SNIA Storage Developer Conference in India. The company also sponsored India’s 3rd Open Infra Institute Day as a contribution to the Opensource community. Yogesh Anyapanawar, Calsoft’s VP Technology, was appointed to SNIA India technical council. The council serves as an authority for laying the advancement strategies and growth pillars for storage and virtualization technologies in India.
Outlook for FY 2019-20
The firm anticipates a 40-45% growth for financial year 2019-2020 in revenue and technology proliferation. Its existing markets provide opportunities for future growth and company will continue to invest in technology, infrastructure and human resources.
It also shares strategic partnership with VMware, ServiceNow, Citrix, Microsoft, NASSCOM and SNIA to enable technology innovation and growth. Earlier in 2019, it joined the NASSCOM’s partnership program to Israel, which was intended at exploring business and investment opportunities, strengthening business relations by collaborating on new projects, and seeking technology partners.
With the US HQs in San Jose, CA, and India HQs in Pune, India, Calsoft also has presence in Bangalore, India.
