Pangea Communications in South Africa Expands Product Range With Cloud-Based Backup Solution

Pangea Communications Corp., which has been offering faxing solutions in the market since 2011, has expanded its product range to include a cloud-based backup solution designed for the SME market.

“We have built a successful business model where our reseller clients can offer an IP faxing service without the need to invest in their own infrastructure, yet with a complete management layer on top of it. With our backup solution, we follow the same recipe, with our customers getting access to a highly advanced backup solution based on a simple pay-per-use model,” says Anche Buys, COO, Pangea.

The backup service caters for a diverse environment of different OSs, servers and applications at customer sites. The service is transparent with daily reports, and the data is backed up to a selection of tier three and four secure data centres.

The solution also includes a patented transfer technology that allows for very high restore times. The solution is offered in partnership with Montana Data Company.
