M-Sport Ford World Rally Team Teaming Up With Acronis

Acronis International GmbH and M-Sport Ford World Rally Team announced a multi-year technical partnership.

Under the agreement, the Swiss-Singaporean company will provide the team with cyber protection solutions designed to improve data resiliency and create a more efficient, secure workflow.

M-Sport will be able to access backup, DR, file sync and share, notarization and e-signature services from a single console. As a result, the team’s data will be protected from modern cyber threats while remaining accessible to team members so it can be used to deliver a competitive edge.

While this partnership is Acronis’ first with a team competing in the FIA World Rally Championship, the company is already a technology partner of choice for many Formula One, Formula E, and other professional motorsport teams. Teams prefer Acronis because of the company’s approach. Utilizing AI, ML and blockchain technologies, every solution addresses the five vectors of cyber protection – safety, accessibility, privacy, authenticity, and security of data (SAPAS).

These solutions will help M-Sport ensure the security and safety of the team’s data both at events and at the workshop, while allowing Acronis to showcase its capabilities.
