New Hitachi Vantara HQs at Hitachi Santa Clara Square

The company also introduced two new senior leaders joining the company’s executive team: CMO Jonathan Martin and chief human resources officer Kristin Machacek Leary.

Hitachi Santa Clara Square houses Hitachi Vantara’s new global HQs along with the regional HQs of Hitachi America, Ltd. Leveraging Hitachi technology to support data, voice and video connections, the campus features the Hitachi Insight Center, an executive briefing center, and Hitachi Global Center for Social Innovation, a lab serving as Hitachi’s global R&D HQs for collaborative creation with partners in industry and academia. These facilities provide a showcase for customers and partners to experience a range of technologies from across Hitachi Group companies while expanding the reach of Hitachi’s Social Innovation Business.
The six-story building is on a Silicon Valley campus featuring technologies and amenities for workforce. As part of Hitachi Vantara’s transformation strategy, the new HQs is designed for growth and represents the company’s focus to inspire employees, attract talent and help customers achieve outcomes that drive forward both business and society as a whole.
Designed by renowned architectural firm, Pei Cobb Freed & Partnershttps://www.pcf-p.com, the 1.7-million-square-foot Santa Clara Square workplace community features sleek, modern architecture, floor-to-ceiling glass for natural light and efficient floor plans for flexibility – all designed to encourage intelligent innovation and collaboration in a number of different environments. On-site amenities include The Commons, an open-air gathering place featuring casual workspaces, the Commons Café, an outdoor living room and complimentary Wi-Fi, and KINETIC, a state-of-the-art fitness and wellness center. Santa Clara Square is developed and managed by Irvine company.
Hitachi Vantara Welcomes Leadership
Jonathan Martin is CMO of Hitachi Vantara, bringing over 18 years of executive marketing experience from some of the technology companies. Most recently, he served as CMO for Pure Storage, Dell EMC and HP Software and has held senior marketing positions at Salesforce and Veritas. He will lead Hitachi Vantara’s worldwide marketing strategy, demand generation, digital and customer experience, brand and corporate communications, competitive and market intelligence, marketing operations and global learning teams.
Kristin Machacek Leary is CHRO of Hitachi Vantara, bringing more than 25 years of progressive leadership and human resources experience. He joins from global cybersecurity leader Forcepoint where she served as VP and CHRO. As a member of Forcepoint’s executive team, she led the company’s HR organization and championed its global talent, culture and workforce development programs. Previously, she held HR leadership roles at Alphatec Spine, Quintiles, HP and Boston Scientific.
