TU45

The TU45 was a manually-loaded nine-track tape drive produced by DEC.
Used half-inch-wide industry standard magnetic tape with a capacity of 40MB at 1,600bpi per spool.
Data transfer speed of 120KB/s at 1,600bpi.
Maximum of 8 drives per controller.
Selectable recording density of either 1,600bpi or 800bpi selectable by software.
Read and write speed of 75 inch/s; rewind speed of 250 inch/s.
Could use tapes of any size up to 2,400-feet reels.
