Revenue Growth of 55% in 4Q18 from 4Q17 for Nakivo

57% from EMEA, 32% from Americas and 11% from AsiaPac

NAKIVO Inc. announced its 2018 quarterly and annual results.

In 4Q18, NAKIVO’s revenue grew by 55% worldwide vs. 4Q17, with revenue in the EMEA region growing 65%.

Revenue:
Out of total revenue earned, 57% came from the EMEA region, 32% came from the Americas, and 11% came from the AsiaPac region. United States, Germany, and Italy were the highest producers of revenue for the company in 2018.

NAKIVO’s revenue grew more than 100% Y/Y in Malta, China, the Philippines, Greece, Serbia, Lebanon, Ukraine, Uruguay, Sri Lanka, Luxembourg, as well as in other countries.

Customers:
In 2018, the number of new customers grew by 74% in the EMEA region, by 35% in the Americas, and by 38% in the AsiaPac region. As of now, the company has customers in 128 countries worldwide and has expanded into Kenya, Zimbabwe, Maldives, New Caledonia, the Isle of Man, Jordan, Macedonia, Barbados, and Haiti. Some examples of new customers include: The Compton Unified School District (NAKIVO on Synology NAS VM backup Window by 6X for a California School District), Ideal Standard (NAKIVO Helps shorten Backup Window by 80% for Ideal Standard), and ScienceLogic (NAKIVO maintains backup and recovery success rates of 99% for a software company).

Solution Partners:
Thee firm increased the number of solution provider partners by 41% in 2018 vs. 2017. In 4Q18, 337 new solution providers joined the its Partner Program and now offer products to their enterprise, as well as SMB customers. It now has approximately 3,600 software solution providers as partners across the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle-East, and the AsiaPac region. Solution Partners from Macedonia and Burkina Faso joined for the first time in 4Q18.

Cloud Providers:
NAKIVO’s Cloud Provider Program enables managed service, cloud, and hosting providers to deliver VM Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS), VM Replication-as-a-Service (RaaS), and VM Disaster-Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) for their customers who are using NAKIVO Backup & Replication. In 2018, the vendor increased the number of qualified cloud providers to 245. One example of a cloud service provider is EverTech (NAKIVO improves scalability, saves time, and storage space for a cloud service provider).

Product Releases in 2018:
• v7.4, featuring Automated VM Failover, File Recovery to Source, and Self-Backup.
• v7.5, featuring vSphere 6.7 Support and Cross-Platform Recovery.
• v8.0, featuring Site Recovery.
• v8.1, featuring Policy-Based Data Protection and Universal Object Recovery.

2018 was another milestone for NAKIVO, as our revenue grew by 55% worldwide in 4Q18 vs. 4Q17,” says Bruce Talley, CEO. “With four product releases in 2018, we not only improved our product, but we also added cutting-edge site recovery functionality. For the next year, we are planning to introduce many new product versions with new functionality that many of our customers and partners have requested.
